ERGO Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 8, 2026
This policy explains how ERGO collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes information when customers, ERGO Partners, and administrators use the ERGO marketplace, website, and mobile app.
Information we collect
We collect account details such as name, email, phone number, password credentials, profile photos, service preferences, and verification documents.
Job activity may include descriptions, addresses, schedules, photos, messages, status updates, reviews, support requests, and dispute information.
We also collect device, browser, security, referral, and usage information needed to operate, protect, and improve ERGO.
Location information
With permission, ERGO uses precise or approximate location to show nearby jobs, establish an ERGO Partner's service area, support routing, and help customers follow active work. Users can enter an address manually when they do not grant location access.
Payments and payouts
Stripe processes customer payments, refunds, ERGO Partner onboarding, and payouts. ERGO stores transaction identifiers, amounts, statuses, and reconciliation records, but does not store full payment card numbers or bank credentials. Stripe handles information under its own privacy terms.
How information is used
We use information to create and secure accounts, match jobs, send service notifications, process payments and payouts, verify users, prevent fraud and prohibited work, provide support, resolve disputes, comply with law, and improve the marketplace.
Notifications
ERGO may send in-app, browser, push, or email notifications about job offers, job status, messages, payments, payouts, safety, support, and important account changes. Optional notification permissions can be changed in device or browser settings.
Sharing
Information is shared only as needed with the customer or ERGO Partner involved in a job, payment and infrastructure providers, professional advisers, public authorities when legally required, and service providers operating under appropriate restrictions. ERGO does not sell personal information.
Retention and security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. Information is retained only as long as needed for marketplace operations, safety, fraud prevention, taxes, accounting, payment and payout obligations, disputes, and legal requirements.
Account and data deletion
Account Settings includes options to delete an account or request deletion of personal data. ERGO removes or anonymizes direct identifiers, profile data, location data, authored messages, photos, and review comments when eligible. Records required for payments, payouts, taxes, fraud prevention, safety, disputes, or law may be retained with access restricted.
Your choices and contact
Users can update profile and notification preferences in Settings and may contact support@get-ergo.com about access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions.
